With Grateful Heart
I don't know that you'll ever read this
But I just had to write and say
How very thankful that we are
That God sent you our way!
Our little girl was dying
So very hard for us to cope
Someone's precious baby
Would have to pass to bring us hope!
We sat vigil at the hospital
For days and days on end
Waiting for a miracle
We prayed that God would send!
A precious life was given
A price so grand to pay
The gesture that you gave us
That ours would live another day!
Our heart breaks for all you've given
Your little one now gone
But she'll live forever in our child
In her she'll carry on!
So much in life is painful
We all live by Gods own plan
If we never get a chance to meet
Know that we understand!
We hope you find contentment
Your gift came with such a cost
May God bless you with his comfort
for all you now have lost!
So with humbled words I write this
Trying deeply to express
Just how grateful we now feel
Our lives you've truly blessed!
