Autumn Storm

Lightening flashes throughout the sky,
And I stare in everlasting wonderment.
Soon the thunder’s bass filled booms,
And I listen intently with amazement
A thunderstorm is on the rise,
The wind blows oh, so strong.
In this slightly depressing town,
But the storm will not last too long,
The mountains standing tall,
The clouds steaming on by.
Another flash of lightening happens,
Bringing me another sigh.
For I know that the storm will end,
Far too soon for my wishes,
And I will no longer enjoy
Mother natures windy kisses
