A New Pair of Glasses.
When I made the decision to change my life I had to stop drinking, and get help it was the best decision I have ever made in my life.
God gave me the willingness to get help I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.
I knew if I did not get help the consequences would be prison, or death or worse living
brain dead.
My life when I was drinking was like walking in a dark hole I could not see in front of me. I could not find the light.
When I made the decision to change my life and stop drinking. I was able to see a little light shining in the dark hole that I was walking in. I did not know I was making a choice; I was so tired of living life in the dark.
I have been blessed with the gift of desperation.
God gave me His inspiration to continue to get help for myself, so I could live a good life.
I believe that God’s infinite wisdom and love brought me out of the life I was in.
Because of God’s love I am clean and sober today.
I have a wonderful life today.
I thank God for helping me make this decision to change my life, which means I have to change my thinking and actions.
Because of the changes I have made in my life. I am living life with a new pair of glasses.
I could not see when I was drinking, now I can see. It is like I have a new pair of glasses.
As long as I continue on this path I will always have this new pare of glasses leading me to the light.
