~ It's Safe To Dream Again ~
I thought that love would never be again...
I thought that all those days were past
I thought my heart would never feel again...
except the sadness that would last
I thought my nights would then be empty...
just as my arms would never hold
I thought my lips would never kiss again...
and that my yearnings would turn cold
But then I saw your eyes...
I saw the smile on your face
I heard you speak your words to me...
the words of kindness could erase
They set the fires in my soul again...
my heart beating with a song
The passions stirring deep within again...
alive once more it's been too long!
The nights that once had been so sad...
with just reminders of the past
Now were filled with thoughts of you...
I pray this time that love will last
I lay in bed and I close my eyes...
thinking of we two and then
Before too long I was fast asleep...
it is safe to dream again!

After we have gone through the pain of a divorce or separation, or even a death of our mate, we begin to heal...
The hope of finding that person that we may share our life with..
A partner to walk hand and hand.... We can feel safe to dream again!
